FOREX VIDEO – New York Session Review – September 24, 2009
Bank of England governor Mervyn King told a local UK newspaper that the country’s banking sector is “not in good shape,” and that he saw the decline in the British pound as “helpful” to re-balancing of the country’s economy. When the market got word of King’s comments, sterling got smoked. Multiple short trade setups on the GBP/USD currency pair materialized during the first hour of today’s New York session. Those who shorted the cable realized a profit of up to 170 pips [depending on entry and exit strategy].
great video, thanks curt!!
Thanks Curt. Excellent review as always. Especially helpful to me is the emphasis on price action at S and R. Your use of correlations is also quite usefull.
great analysis
Great video, thanks!
Great video, thanks!
Hi, great video!
Thanks for your help rnp1thx!
Hope the service at GFT Singapore is better.
Thanks to wadams19 too.. the default Fib which you mentioned is for retracement, which I am aware of, many thanks though!
Cheers to more pips!
Curt man that was a really helpful video!!
Thank you very much!!
hey nab. you probably have fibs. you just have to activate it in the toolbar.
here’s what you do:
-right click on the chart and select “configure drawing toolbar”
-a window opens up where you can add the drawing tools you want to be viewable on the toolbar
nab11- GFT doesn’t have fib extensions in the menu. Ask and re-ask tech support to give you the ‘secret’ code for ChartStudio to build Fib extensions. Sometimes it takes knocking a few heads there in Chicago! They often look at us traders as pests when we want them to provide us with real service! I find a batch of lazy guys and one or two excellent folks. Just like anyplace! For example, isn’t Curt great! Careful and knowledgeable!
Good
hey Curt! How does FXbootcamp get FIB extensions on the GFT platform? my GFT does not seem to have it. Many Thanks
Awesome commentary, love how you guys analyze based on the correlations of the currencies and markets. Great stuff.
